These bars came out of our test runs. We were dialing in the formula, and the scent didn't land where we wanted it — some batches came out fainter than intended, and the scent profile shifted from batch to batch.

The soap itself is good. It cleanses exactly the way our regular bars do, made the same way, by hand, in the same small batches. It just doesn't smell the way we'd want it to on a shelf at full price.

So we're not charging full price. We'd rather someone actually use these than have them sit in our studio.

Expect a light scent, or almost none at all. How much fragrance you'll notice varies bar to bar. If scent is the reason you buy soap, buy our regular bars instead — you'll be happier.

Varieties are chosen at random based on what's on hand. You'll receive three bars from our current handmade facial bar varieties, and we can't take requests or guarantee a specific combination.

No retail box. These skip our usual outer packaging, so they aren't gift-ready. If you're buying for yourself, that won't matter at all.

Why we do outlet

Making things in small batches means test runs, odd counts, and results that don't quite hit the mark. Rather than quietly write them off, we'd rather tell you what happened and let you decide.
